  1. Consultation

Every family begins with a consultation call with one of our Directors, enabling us to build a detailed understanding of your child’s academic background, objectives, and individual learning needs before recommending a tutor.

2. Tutor Matching

During the consultation, we carefully match each student with a specialist tutor whose qualifications, teaching experience, and curriculum expertise align closely with their academic needs, learning style, and aspirations. We will explain why we have selected that tutor and provide detailed information about their background, experience, and suitability for your child.

Once you are happy to proceed, an invoice will be issued in your preferred currency (GBP, USD, EUR, or SGD). Upon payment, we will introduce parents, students, and tutors via email and share all relevant information gathered during the discovery consultation, ensuring your tutor is fully prepared and understands your child's objectives, strengths, and areas for development.

Your tutor will then make contact within 24 hours to confirm the trial lesson, discuss any specific topics or areas of focus, and provide access details for Google Meet and any online learning platforms that will be used during lessons.

3. Paid Trial

We ask all students to undertake a paid trial lesson with our recommended tutor, providing an opportunity to experience first-hand the expertise, teaching quality, and personalised support that Tutors Inc is known for.

All lessons are conducted online via Google Meet. Our tutors utilise a range of interactive teaching tools, including OneNote, Notability, and specialist online whiteboards, creating a highly engaging and collaborative learning environment. Students and tutors can work together in real time, allowing for instant feedback, detailed explanations, and clear progress tracking.

Lessons are carefully tailored to each student's needs and typically incorporate past-paper questions, exam-style practice, structured discussion, and extension materials designed to deepen understanding, build confidence, and maximise academic performance.

4. Next Steps

Following the trial lesson, one of our Directors will contact you to discuss how the session went and answer any questions you may have. We will also gather feedback from the tutor to ensure that both student and tutor feel confident that the match is the right fit.

Once everyone is happy to proceed, a regular lesson schedule will be agreed directly with your tutor. To provide consistency and continuity, we aim to reserve a recurring weekly time slot wherever possible.

Lesson timings for the upcoming month are agreed in advance, and invoices are issued on the 25th of each month in your preferred currency (GBP, USD, EUR, or SGD). Your lesson slot is secured once payment has been received.

Following the discovery consultation, you will receive our Terms of Business, which outline our policies and procedures in full. These will also be discussed during the consultation call to ensure complete transparency from the outset.

5. Regular Tuition & Progress

Through regular assessments, detailed tutor feedback, and ongoing progress reviews, we provide clear insight into each student's development, ensuring a personalised learning journey that delivers measurable progress and long-term academic success.
